Fortnite Switch Update Error

Posted on August 23, 2022 by Emmitt Rodriguez

A recent Fortnite Switch update appears to be causing problems for some users.

The game’s 4.0 update, released earlier this week, brings a number of new features to the game, including a new weapon and a new Limited Time Mode.

However, some users are reporting that they are now unable to log in to the game, receiving an error message which reads “Error occurred while processing your request. Please try again later.”

It’s not clear at this stage what is causing the problem, or how many users are affected.

Epic Games has yet to comment on the issue.

If you are experiencing this problem, we suggest trying to log in again later, or contacting Epic Games support.

Why is Fortnite not working on the switch?

Since its release in September of 2017, Fortnite has become one of the most popular video games in the world. Available on a variety of platforms, including PC, Mac, Xbox, Playstation, and iOS, the game has been downloaded over 125 million times. In February of 2018, Epic Games, the developers of Fortnite, announced that they were working on a version of the game for the Nintendo Switch.

On June 12th, 2018, Fortnite was released for the Nintendo Switch. The game was an instant hit, becoming the most downloaded game on the Switch eShop. However, in the past week there have been reports that the game is not working properly on the Switch.

Players are reporting that they are unable to log in to the game, and that when they try to join a game they are either kicked out of the game or placed in a match with players who are much higher level than they are.

Epic Games has been aware of these issues and has been working to fix them. On Tuesday, they released a statement saying that they are working on a patch to address the login issues and that they are sorry for the inconvenience that the issues have caused.

Fans of the game are hopeful that the issues will be fixed soon, as the game is otherwise running smoothly on the Switch. Fortnite is a hugely popular game and is only going to get more popular with the release of the Switch version. It is important that Epic Games address these issues as soon as possible to ensure that everyone who wants to play the game can do so without any problems.
